Our Mission
DCF works in communities of Ghana to promote transformative change in both infrastructure and teaching and learning quality in rural schools. DCF has the further mission to offer indices of sustainable livelihood to humanity, contribute to the future of orphans and endangered children through knowledge, policy advice, support services, technical assistance and collaborative action for common good agenda.

OUR BROAD OBJECTIVES
1. TAKE RESPONSIBILITIES
To care and take the secondary responsibilities of the less privileged as to propagate the practical training in obedience and character transformation…
2. ESTABLISH RESOURCE CENTERS
To establish and foster family resource Centre’s to provide information, accommodation, education, and research and recreation facilities to vulnerable children and caregivers.
3. BUILD CHARACTER
To publish, acquire, distribute literature of character molding or of any other nature that would promote their courage and faith with societal values in the lives of the less privileged.
4. EMPOWER THE NEEDY
To empower the needy members of the community to participate in income-generating activities for socio-economic transformations of their homesteads and operate a revolving micro-finance scheme for poverty eradication.
5. AIDS AWARENESS AND PREVENTIVE MEASURES
To enhance preventive measures against HIV/AIDS and to promote initiative among community members for the care of those individuals and families affected by AIDS.
6. VOCATIONAL TRAINING
To establish and operate vocational training centers and educational institutions to promote academic excellence for a meaningful lifestyle in society.

The team visited the Alorkpem Basic school headed by Mr Samuel Yao Awuku where their challenges and difficulties were made known to the foundation.
