Construction of a 6-unit classroom block to open doors to knowledge and opportunity for children

Building Hope, Brick by Brick

Larbanga, Tamale South, near Yendi Road

In a world where hope can be the light that changes lives, De Colours Foundation stands as a beacon of possibility and transformation. Since our journey began, we have championed the boundless power of kindness, compassion, and believing that even the smallest act of generosity can spark a brighter future for generations to come.

In Larbanga, Tamale South, near Yendi Road, the dreams of countless children are being overshadowed by harsh realities. Without access to quality education, many are forced to abandon their aspirations, leaving school behind to endure lives as street hawkers, laborers, or trapped in a cycle of poverty. These children—brimming with untapped potential—deserve so much more.
At De Colours Foundation, we believe that education is more than a privilege; it is the foundation of hope, empowerment, and transformation. That’s why we are not just dreaming of change—we are building it, brick by brick.

In Larbanga, we are constructing a 6-unit classroom block to open doors to knowledge and opportunity for children who might otherwise never have the chance. These classrooms will serve as safe havens of learning, where young minds can grow, flourish, and prepare to become the leaders and changemakers of tomorrow.
But we know that schools need more than walls and desks—they need dedicated teachers who inspire and guide. To support these educators, we are building a teachers’ bungalow, providing a safe and welcoming space for those who give so much of themselves to nurture the next generation.
And because a thriving school depends on a thriving community, we’re also drilling a borehole to provide clean, reliable water—not just for the school but for the entire Larabanga community. With access to this vital resource, children will stay healthier, families will prosper, and the community will take another step toward sustainable growth.
Every classroom we complete, every home we build, and every drop of water that flows is a step toward ending the cycle of poverty, empowering children to chase their dreams, and lifting an entire community toward a brighter future.

This vision is bold, but we cannot achieve it alone. With your support, we can ensure that no child is forced to give up their education or their dreams. Together, we can provide hope, opportunity, and a path to a better tomorrow.
At De Colours Foundation, we live by this truth: Service to humanity is service to God. Let us come together to transform lives—because every act of kindness leaves the world a little brighter.

Empowering Young Lives on World Menstrual Hygiene Day

Akropong, Eastern Region  I  28th May 2025

Today 28th May 2025, on the occasion of World Menstrual Hygiene Day, De Colours Foundation had the privilege of visiting the Akropong School for the Blind. It was a day filled with compassion, education, and empowerment.
As part of our commitment to promoting menstrual hygiene and general well-being annually, we donated menstrual pads to support the girls in managing their cycles with dignity and comfort. To ensure inclusivity, we also provided toothbrushes, toothpaste, and other essential toiletries that would benefit both the boys and girls in the school.
Beyond the donations, we engaged the students in educational sessions to raise awareness about menstrual hygiene, personal care, and the importance of maintaining good health habits. The interactions were enlightening and inspiring, reminding us all of the importance of empathy and support for every individual, regardless of their circumstances.
We are grateful for the opportunity to make a small impact and thank the staff and students of Akropong School for the Blind for welcoming us so warmly.

Together, we continue to spread knowledge, and champion hygiene and dignity for all.

Watch out for our next Big Project!

A Revisit to Alorkpem

Ada, Greater Accra I 4th April 2025

A year ago, De Colours Foundation renovated a three-unit classroom block, A school at Alorkpem in Ada, Greater Accra Region, a small island community. Yesterday 4th April 2025, our team visited the Alorkpem Basic School to evaluate and see how well the school infrastructure has been maintained. We’re proud to say the building is still as good as it was renovated serving the students and teachers just as we hoped.
But we didn’t visit the school empty-handed. This time, we went with different items: School bags for pupils who didn’t have any, footballs, volleyballs, basketballs, sports kits, and jerseys to support physical education and encourage talent. We believe that education goes beyond the classroom. Some of these children may be the next Cristiano Ronaldo, Lionel Messi, Asamoah Gyan, or Austin Jay Jay Okocha, and it’s our joy to help fuel the dreams of those young talents.
This visit reminded us that small acts of kindness can plant the seeds of greatness. And at De Colours Foundation, we remain committed to supporting underserved communities through education, sports, and sustainable development.
THE NEXT BIG PROJECT IS LOADING…..BE PART OF THIS PROJECT…

Covid 19 Relief Support

Ketu South, Volta Region,  May 2020

Ketu South is a bordered district located in the Volta Region of Ghana and shares a border with Togo. The complexities of closing the Ghana – Togo border, movement restrictions, and lockdowns during the pandemic constrained the community whose business activities are heavily dependent on farming and small-scale cross-border trade. The local population experienced severe economic setbacks due to lockdowns, movement restrictions, and the general economic downturn. Access to healthcare, food, and basic necessities became increasingly challenging for many families. De Colours Foundation visited and donated palliatives to the community during their hours of need.
